This service crowdsources the cooking and delivery of food. Dabbawallah is EBay for chefs, but rapid sale and delivery is facilitated by social network and SMART phone technology. Like a meals on wheels on steroids- this has global application and transcends all demographics, food styles and prices. This is meals on wheels for the big society and is going to democratise the community food/ takeaway food/ delivery market. Background A Dabbawallah is a person in India who is employed in a unique service industry whose primary business is collecting the freshly cooked food in lunch boxes from the residences of office workers or local restaurants , delivering it to their respective workplaces and returning the empty boxes back to the customer's residence by using various modes of transport. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dabbawala

The Crowd will be a platform to tap into the untapped agency of NEETS, engage young people and assemble ad-hoc teams, with support and mentors, to drive change in their communities and work with public services. This will provide valuable experience for project working, build soft-skills, peer-peer and community interaction, and boost the confidence and aspirations of young people.

What about an App engineered specifically for young people's information seeking needs? Something that offers a single portal solution to the information that young people need on a daily basis.

We are inspired by the power of using real-life entrepreneurship as a learning tool. Meet Market is a platform and support network for young people not in education, employment, or training to take a hands-on approach to professional (and social) development through entrepreneurship. It provides an online and offline platform, giving young people the tools and support to launch micro-enterprises within the familiar context of street markets. Markets provide an unique opportunity to develop a wide range of skills, with exposure to procurement, profit margins, time management, relationships and marketing within a low-risk environment. Meet Market will help NEETs to explore this by providing micro-finance and support, enabling participants to essentially manage their own business as a learning process rather than purely an enterprise.
