Oilbeback.com – the national local cooking oil recycling network

Fuel prices are only going one way. Used vegetable oil can be processed into Biodiesel for diesel powered vehicles and tools. Fuel prices are rocketing and only getting more expensive. More and more people and organisations are processing used vegetable oil into Biodiesel. For this reason used vegetable oil has a significant resale value. Biodisel has lower carbon emissions than regular diesel. Oilbeback.com is a used vegetable oil reuse service. The service matches producers with buyers to create a level playing field for the trade of waste vegetable oil. There is a growing underground movement of DIY enthusiasts who develop relationships with restaurants and collect their waste oil to make diesel. Large firms will also pay restaurants for their used vegetable oil. This service democratises the used vegetable oil market for the benefit of society

I want to bring social network technology to the food delivery market with a huge twist. This is about reducing food waste and resource use, collaborative consumption, local food, local jobs and going to be as big as bike sharing. I want to set this up as a social enterprise and there are massive employment opportunities for the disadvantaged.
