Network weaving in the cloud

Organisations and projects increasingly need to develop "mesh" networks rather than ones focussed on a particularly hub. The organisation may be the catalyst and weaver, but not the owner. This happens informally in Twitter through hashtags and lists, but it is messy, confusing, and lacks many of the tools needed when people in the network want to work together.

Innovation get-togethers: map the networks

There are a number of digital/social innovation spaces and networks in the field: Simpl, dotgovlabs, the emerging knowledge hub, SocialbySocial, with overlapping memberships and ideas. Why not get together face to face, as Sandie has suggested? A first step could be some network mapping.
