Blastbeat wraps the learning experience in music, dance or sport, that leverages young peoples interests and passions to engage NEETs back in the learning process and enhances their positive learning experience teaching business and life skills in a very compelling way. Blastbeat in a Box helps to empower young people to be event creators and social entrepreneurs, programming and selling out live events and creating performance opportunities for other young people that are intense yet cool and FUN. Blastbeat has a programme and an expertise that has proven very successful at engaging these young people, NEET's in particular will benefit young people NEET

Roots of Reggae is a social enterprise that will bring together people from different generations and backgrounds to develop a shared appreciation of reggae music and culture. Roots of Reggae will will highlight and honour the contribution older generations have made to reggae and provide an inclusive space for people of all ages to meet and socialise over some great music. In doing so, Roots of Reggae provides a positive, creative solution to a number of complex social challenges, including: - Social isolation and Depression - Lower levels of participation in cultural activities amongst older people - (Lack of) understanding and respect between generations, exemplified by older people's fear of younger people and negative stereotyping of both older and younger people. - Levels of positive contact between people from different backgrounds
