The problem

The idea

In the short time that Gransnet has been in existence, it's become obvious that one of the reasons people in the second half of life enjoy social networking is being able to talk about the clothes they once wore, the music they listened to, the experiences they lived through and the values they had...and by implication, how much all this has changed.

The Memories wiki would enable people to share their memories in a broader way, making contact with, for example, people who were born in the same year, or were nurses or teachers or activists or parents in the same period. The cleverness would be in the way it picks things up, the connections it makes.
